Photographic and computer history, of this site.

I started photographing at the start of the 1960's and progressed to winning an inter schools prize, when I was 16.

Leaving school with a good toolbox of exams, like many adventurous souls of my generation, I hit the road and among other things, brought the money and land together and then helped build the Glastonbury free festival of 1971, before heading back to my family.

Falling disabled, I was in hospital for nearly a year and when I was fit enough, I re entered the world.

Spending a number of years in bedsits, I joined a photography project at Weld in Lozells and my previous passion was re ignited.

Since 1984 I have been doing reportage work on the streets of Birmingham. You can't sell a city without good images.

BBC Birmingham put some of my slides, of the old Bull Ring, on their site for a number of years.

At first it was 35mm slide and about two years ago, I joined the digital revolution, from which all these images are taken.

I first got an Amstrad word processor in 1984 and put up my first site in 1997, having got the money from compensation paid to me, for getting mugged in Town for my camera and left with a broken hip.

I now have a Dell/Vista computer which works a treat.

I now live with my wife in a small terrace and my health has been much improved, by creating this project.

Thank you for coming to this web, I hope you enjoy your stay.
